Seeing Double

So just like everyone else with 2 eyes I am loving this jacket from Anthro. Unfortunately, it's not really in my budget right now. *sad face*

But wait! When I was perusing Kohl's website last night, I stumbled across this for waaaaay less. I know it's not exactly the same - it's missing the cute buttons, but it does come in pretty colors. Also, the Anthro version is wool and the Kohl's one looks to be more of a knit material, so it might not be as warm but I went ahead and ordered the black one anyway. Plus thanks to Chloe I got an extra 30% off! I ended up paying around $35 a cute little Anthro look-alike. 

Although I haven't actually seen or tried on the Anthro version and can't really compare the two, I'll do a review on the Kohl's version once I get it.  

Splurge vs. Steal

I just had to share this with you. I have lusted after the Steve Madden Caryssa pump for months now. It just looks beautiful and sexy and classy but not very practical. Well for me anyway. So I couldn't very well stomach the almost $90 price tag. Even on ebay they're still around $80.
Last year I was doing my weekly stalking searching on Kohl's website and found an almost exact dupe of the Steve Madden shoes made by none other than Candie's, one of my favorite affordable shoe brands. At about half the price of the SM's there's no way I could pass these babies up!
The only big difference I see is the heel height. The Steve's are listed as 5 1/4" while the Candie's are only 4 3/4"...not a huge difference really. It is going to take some getting used to walking in these things. I'm used to more of a thicker heel so this skinny little thing is a little scary at first, but I'm sure I'll manage ;)

So maybe I'm slow in realizing this but I have just bought a pair of shoes very similar to the Seychelles "Get Outta Town" flats. I thought when I purchased them they looked kind of familiar but couldn't quite put my finger on it. It wasn't until I remembered Kim wearing something similar on blog not too long ago. So basically I got these awesome shoes from Kohl's that are actually very close to a more "designer" pair. Cool. I didn't see these on the Kohl's website anymore so try your luck, they might have them in your local store. Apparently I'm not the only one who realized the splurge vs. steal. I believe mine were only $19.99 compared to $80.00. If you don't happen to find these at your local Kohl's there is still another option. 6pm has them for $48 (40% off!)

These were also purchased at Kohl's for $18.99. These look semi familiar too, no? I wanna say that maybe Steve Madden did a pair like these? I don't know. If anyone does know please tell me!

Unionbay "Remy" flats

I went to Ulta today and picked up a few goodies.

I'm a bridesmaid in a wedding this weekend and wanted a nice lighter nail polish. I saw the mini Essie's and just HAD to get them. And they just so happen to be from the "Wedding Collection"

Here's a sneak peek at the shoes I'm wearing in the wedding this weekend. They are pretty comfortable and so dainty and pretty. I will be able to definitely wear these again!

I bought Gran Torino (great movie!!!!), New Moon (I got made fun of by the check out guy for buying this but whatever I had fun with it) and Public Enemies (good movie, kind of long though)
